Walgreens’ Retail Display Success for ella+mila with Bay Cities
ella+mila is a vegan nail care line that is free of 17 harmful chemicals, and they focus on educating customers about the ingredients in their beauty products. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, ella+mila experienced increased sales. With nail salons closed and boredom quickly setting in for many, people started doing their nails at home—and stocking up on polishes.
Part of the company’s growth during 2020 included a launch into more retailers: Walgreens, Rite Aid, and CVS. ella+mila was approached by Walgreens earlier this year to be included in their new clean beauty sections—for launch in September, a tight turnaround for a retail display.
